It’s that time of the month again, the Hillsboro Village Art Walk is on Thursday, April 5, 2012 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm which will celebrate Earth Day! Enjoy receptions, shows, music, artists, demonstrations, book signings and events hosted in most of the shops and restaurants throughout Hillsboro Village. The Hillsboro Village Art Walk is the first Thursday of every month – get it on your calendar!

• Fido is the Shop of the Month! Fido will offer two specials during the Art Walk, (1) Free cheese plate with a bottle of wine  and (2) Free dessert with purchase of 2 entrees. The Green Bag Lady will be giving away free reusable bags during the Earth Day Art Walk. Also, Craftville will be set up out front making seed bombs. Fido will also have artist – Danielle Duer.
• SEE Eyewear will have artist, Sara McCloud, who upcycles household linens into aprons. Musician, Cristina Peck, will be there as well. SEE Eyewear deals incluce $40 off one pair of glasses or $100 total off of two pair. They will also serve wine and snacks!
• Sweet Cece’s will have artist, Ann Cowden, painting live and musician, Matt Brock.
• Fire Finch will have artist, Meghan Coomes and DJ, Just Greg.
• Retropolitan will feature artist,Sandra Barrett-Hoomani.
• Zeitgeist will have artist, Megan Lightell.
• Provence will feature three artists including Victoria Babb, Stephanie Helmey, and Maura Satchell. Provence will also have music by Derek Pell and the Gypsy Cowboys.
• Bookman/Bookwoman will have authors, Christine Kreyling and Michael Kreyling. Christine will discuss her favorite book, The Nine Tailors by Dorothy L. Sayers, and Michael will discuss Absalom! Absalom! by William Faulkner.
• Pangaea will have artist, Valerie Harrell.
• POSH will have artist,  Gayle Levee.
• A Village of Flowers will have two artists, Larry Richardson and Brenda Morley.
• A Thousand Faces will feature artist, Danielle Gilbert of Genthree Designs.
• Kay Bob’s will be having beer specials and live bluegrass.
• Jackson’s will feature artist, Emma Klingbell.
