It’s already September 1, 2011 and Fall is right around the corner. Kickoff your September right by attending the Hillsboro Village Art Walk tonight from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. The Hillsboro Village Art Walk takes place on the first Thursday of every month. Shops, Restaurants, and the Belcourt Theatre all participate by hosting artists, having specials, and providing some food and beverages.

Details about tonight’s events:

• Belcourt Theatre is the shop of the month. They will have a raffle giveaway.
• A Thousand Faces is hosting artist Modern Bronze Jewelry.
• Clothing Xchange will have art by Jeff Bertrand, music by Judah Magnolia and food provided by the CX employee cook-off.
• SEE Eyewear will feature artist Wendi Strauch Mahoney and will be offering $40 off one pair and a total of $100 off two pairs of eyeglasses from 5:00pm – 8:00pm tonight.
• Provence will host artist Brian Nash and will have live music by the local band, Gypsy Pompe.
• Fire Finch will have artist Colleen Wandel.
• Pangaea will host artist Brad Keen.
• Posh will have musical performances by Noel Barefoot and Meredith Mazie.
• A Village of Flowers will have artist Mary Claire Crow and food samples by Youlanda Peña.
• Retropolitan will host artist Candice Sone.
• Fido will have artists Casey Pierce and David Hellams.
• Hot & Cold will have artists Micah Smith and Ashley Owens. They will also be launching some “back to school” fall drinks tonight and will have DJs playing live sets.
• Zeitgeist will open their Fall art season in Nashville with new work by artists Kurt Wagner and Wayne White.

Parking Tip: Free Parking after 6:00pm behind Cornerstone Financial and on 21st Avenue.
